International award-winning producer, director, and TV host Jeff Blugrind will emcee day one of the Taste of Ladera. Known as the “Voice of Ladera Ranch”, Blugrind is well known in the community for volunteering as emcee at many community events from school talent shows to the July 4th main stage. Additionally, he was named Ladera Ranch’s Adult Volunteer of the Year in 2009 for dedicating over 60 hours a month to our schools, American Red Cross, OC Fire Authority and serving as President of LARMAC. Richard Blade

Emcee for Main Stage on Sunday, May 2.

Originally from England, Richard has been a DJ for thirty years and has played and DJ’d at special events all over the world, from Europe to Australia, and of course, here in America.

Richard was on-air for eighteen years with the legendary KROQ in Los Angeles, plus KNAC and Star 98.7. He is currently heard nationwide on his daily morning drive show on Sirius XM Satellite radio (First Wave Ch. 22 & 44) and worldwide on Worldspace on Retro Radio. And if you fly a lot you’ve probably caught Richard as the DJ on one of the many in-flight entertainment channels he hosts for airlines including Delta, Royal Jordanian and Singapore.

Richard has also appeared in and hosted many TV shows including MV3, Video One, Video Beat, The Rock’n’Roll Evening News, ABC’s Countdown to The American Music Awards and Square Pegs. He recently produced both seasons of VH1’s “Bands Reunited” and appeared with Brett Michaels on “Rock Of Love”. He’s also starred in a number of films including “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” with Helen Hunt, Sarah Jessica Parker and Shannon Doherty, “Spellcaster” with Adam Ant and Gail O’Grady and “Long Lost Son” (which Richard also wrote) with Gabrielle Anwar (“Scent Of A Woman”), Craig Sheffer (“River Runs Through It”) and Chace Crawford (“Gossip Girl”).

Richard brings his extensive experience and knowledge of music to every event he plays to make it extra special for all those involved. You can relax, knowing everything will be taken care of by a true professional.

Janeane Bernstein

Emcee for OC Talent Show on Sunday, May 2

Originally from the east coast, Janeane landed in SoCal in 2000 with her husband and baby girl and went from corporate career in media and technology to voice-over and radio. In between diaper changes and another baby girl, she went on to become a weekly contributor on Chick Chat Radio, a nationally syndicated XM satellite show, host of a weekly radio show at KUCI 88.9fm at UC Irvine, Regional Coordinator of Mamapalooza, the international music festival featuring mother’s in the arts, and producer and host of the Momz Rock the House Show. Guests have included Kathy Valentine of the Go Go's, Meredith Brooks, Emme, Taylor Dayne, Tosca Reno, Judy Davids of the Mydols, The Go Sheilas, and numerous other talented women in the arts.

Janeane has emceed and hosted numerous events throughout Orange County , including Parenting Magazine’s Family Expo's, Pampered Lady Cruises, her own Mamapalooza festivals and Momz Rock the House Music Fest, and Taste of Ladera’s Family Fun Day. Currently, her radio show, Momz Rock the House, can be heard on momzrockthehouse.com and 90.1fm KBPK in Orange County and on www.kbpk-fm.com. She is totally jazzed to be back again hosting the Taste of Ladera on May 2 and the OC Talent Show, “Bet You Can’t Do That!”
