Volunteer

There are a number of ways you can make a difference. We are looking for extremely enthusiastic individuals to help us put on a great event; if you’re looking to connect with great people, this is the perfect place for you. We have a number and a variety of roles to fill—ambassadors of sales and entertainment liaisons are just a few ways you can get involved. Not only will you have fun and meet great people along the way, all our volunteers get a limited number of free passes to the event for their families. As you can imagine, putting together such a large event requires dedication, responsibility and community spirit—plus a sense of humor. Through the years, our group of volunteers has grown to 100, and we are delighted to enroll as many talented neighbors as possible. Our volunteers are simply invaluable! Scroll down to volunteer!

HOW CAN I VOLUNTEER?

The first step is submitting an online application. Volunteer positions are on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to submit early.

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF VOLUNTEERS?

Once your application is completed and accepted, Taste of Ladera will contact you and assign a task. You will be required to attend meetings based on the amount of responsibility you desire. All meetings are held in Ladera Ranch.

ARE THERE ANY SPECIAL PERKS?

As a volunteer, admission to the event on the day you are volunteering is gratis. If you are volunteering on behalf of a charity or vendor, you will have to coordinate ticket/entry with that organization. All additional tickets may be purchased in advance or at the event. Remember, this is a charity event, so by purchasing a ticket, you are donating to a great cause.

IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?

To volunteer, you must be at least 18.

DO I NEED TO LIVE IN LADERA?

You don't have to live in Ladera Ranch to be part of this great event and to give your time and expertise to the cause. Many of our neighboring cities participate by having booths. We welcome everyone!

WHAT ATTIRE IS REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER AT THE EVENT?

Taste of Ladera will provide a T-shirt for you to wear while working the event. You are responsible for wearing the shirt at all times while on volunteer duty during the two-day event. If you are working for a specific booth or charity, you will need to contact them directly for attire guidelines.
